most of us are biologically hardwired to experience some level of empathy, most likely because it helped the chance of survival for the group as a whole.
Even tho todays level of (((morals))) is way over the top and most likely damaging to our societies.

Whether you believe morality and ethics are real or not is irrelevant because a majority of people do, and yes, civilization's laws are enforced at the end of a barrel of a gun, that's the dilemma whether you believe they're real or not. Now, when societies or civilizations collapses as many do throughout history the rules, laws, values, morals, and ethics goes through tremendous changes with that, but the stronger always exert their will onto others eventually regardless. I understand philosophical nihilism, I'm well versed in it, you might say this post is the nihilist's dilemma.
