it appears that was he's calling out is the ban for anyone to leave, not the gender discrimination in it. Which is fair tbh, nobody should be prevented to leave a country in war. That's just despicable.

I had never seen that term before.

I had a boss once who mocked me for using trial and error. He was under the impression that a program should run correctly at first time. He was quite smarter than me so I never knew if he was serious or not.
