Ya I thought that when she said her boyfriend was "in the school district." One would assume this just means another teacher, but her vague wording raises some red flags. However, if you read the article on the website they say her boyfriend was a teacher. This could just be the writer inferring based off her statement, though.
But her reason for suing is fucking stupid. She claims "gender discrimination" because it was only a topless photo. It is obvious that picture was sexual in nature since the intended recipient was specifically her boyfriend. As if this situation would be any better if she had her breasts covered with a sexy lace bra instead.
Why would she sue for such a bullshit reason if she actually did something illegal, or was intending to do something illegal? If her intention was for the student to see the image then she is basically telling the school district to make the situation public or don't fire her. She can't be that stupid.
