Discussion Tbh this forum's format is shit-tier compared to Reddit (technology-wise)

The way Reddit lets users vote on posts and is generally compact and convenient to browse was awesome. The incel subreddits were my favorite incel communities to use. This place doesn't work well when the user numbers balloon up and threads start filling with lower quality posts (I'm guilty of contributing to this problem I'm afraid).

My suggestion: Could it be possible to have post replies not take up so much fucking vertical space? Is it really crucial to see everyone's profile picture and user stats blown up on each their posts? Frankly, browsing threads is painful with how much screen space every reply takes.

I actually kinda like the style. But it would be nice if user posts took up less space in the replies.

This empty space is my issue

I only ever browse on mobile. Seems to be better than the CRT Era desktop format you guys are complaining about.

Try to internalize this: just because somebody disagrees with you doesn't mean they came from Reddit.

regardless, I think his opinions are AIDS infested. Also, he literally said he came from Reddit in the post

Give serge some credit, the dude is younger than most of us.

I always disliked Reddit's structure, how uniformized every user looked, without any avi, sig and such.

I especially hated the like system which often rewarded low-effort and low-IQ posts over thoughtful discussions.

All equally retarded. Why emphasise poster identity so much? I believe we are all mostly interested in post content itself.
Because we are not Reddit clones.

I think the format helped soy it up

Heavily disagree
In reddit users have no identity of their own and the sheep-like mentality has always been highly prevalent in every sub you go due to the badly designed upvote system.
People literally can't have an opinion of their own without getting downvoted to oblivion and consequently ignored.

low iq thread

your comparing a multimillion dollar platform like reddit, with a low budget no money websiet, where literally no developers were hired to create and is a fucking template copy paste forum where the code is basically auto generated cookie cutter template php and javascript.

are you insane op

if not put up the money and hire some developers then other wise stop whining

Fair enough and I would otherwise agree but the absurdly high amount of screen real estate reserved for poster identity is a bad idea in my opinion.

upboats 2 the left le kind strangerino :feelsaww:

use it on mobile. it is better that way

This is how you tell someone was born in 2004 or later.

It’s nice on mobile. I think most traffic comes from mobile users tbh

Yep. Incel-trait: browsing the web on a desktop PC. :feelskek:
This one's relatable. Even though I'm used to browse the web on a smartphone, it's still way more comfortable for me to do it on a laptop.
