I watched it a few years ago and could remember relating to Travis's awkwardness around foids and his co workers, young De Niro looks mogs me to death though

I watched the movie with my grandpa when I was like 17 and he said every guy is his late 20s can relate to that movie. I didn't know what he meant by that at the time but now I'm in my late 20s and relate to it. He said he for sure related to it when he watched it in 1976 when it was released.

Watched till the part at the first half hour where he walks in the campaign agency, while the fat guy is talking to the girl, asks the girl on the date, gets her on the date, and tells her, "oh the thing between you and the guy isn't real" and she is like "oh yeah totally"
