I get why average height guys can end up really conscious about there height because even though you're technically average you can still end up in situations where there just so happens to be a lot of guys way taller than you around that can make you look like a child in comparison, I've noticed that I'll feel shorter somedays and I think this might be why. But I hate hearing people that are significantly better off complain about something that I would kill to have.

Someone who is 5'11" is not a tallfag (at least in most white countries). I'm 5'8" (175cm) living in coastal Australia, and I am surrounded by people far taller than me daily. I have been called short throughout my upbringing. Census data may indicate a certain average height within the male population of a country, but that factors in old people and ethnics. In reality, that height is likely viewed as short within younger white populations.
I'm almost 5'11, yet in my area average is around 6'0-6'1 for my age category.

I'll preface this by saying that I interpret the term "tallfag" as meaning someone who is noticeably taller than average (I'd say 6ft and above, at least in my town in coastal Australia), not just anyone who is above the mean. Sorry if I have misunderstood the term.
I guess it depends on where @anon65 lives, but in many places 5'11" is around the average within the population of younger white men, even though he is considered tall by global standards. I think it's feasible to assume that, at least in his current location, he wouldn't be considered tall in comparison to men his age.
The difference between 5'11" and 6' is also noticeable in my opinion. I automatically compare my height to every single male I see standing near me and compare heights between every single male who stands next to one another. Even differences as small as a centimetre or two make a surprisingly significant difference.
