Media Takeshi Kitano movies are really dope

Really love this guy and his movies tbh. He always goes for rogue, loner outcast antiheroes that get the job done but using questionable methods. Expect lots of over the top gritty violence and blood. Also how he sometimes introduces absurd humor moments since the guy apart from actor and director is also a comedian. Some good movies I watched were Violent Cop, Hana Bi, Zatoichi, Outrage. Shows you that Japanese media isn't just anime and there are some really good live action directors too.
