I actually wanted to become an anti-human trafficking advocate when I was in college, until I quickly discovered the exact thing being discussed here; most of the so-called "victims" of human trafficking are girls who just fell for a good looking guy, who happened to be a pimp.
Of course, for their efforts, these women get Ted Talks, book deals, and they even get access to politicians and working with police. For example, in Canada, a Hungarian woman named Timea Nagy was feeding narratives to the Conservative party (which was in power before Trudeau). The conservatives passed Bill C-36, which effectively introduced the Swedish model to Canada in 2013.
That means that a woman can sell herself for prostitution, but Johns get jailed for buying.
In fact, most of these organizations are Christian non-profit groups who try to ban porn; they see porn as an industry where women hve sex for money, and thus make the false equivocation that human trafficking and porn are the same. Interestingly enough, most of these activists are former porn stars who "didn't quite make it". Sound familiar? (i.e. #MeToo)

And the definition of raped has been stretched so much that just hitting on a girl in some countries can get you in trouble.
