The reason we make fun of that advice is that they're assuming our personal hygiene is bad. I don't know about the rest of you but I've been taking showers since I was tall enough to use a shower and I didn't have to be told to.

But now I live in S.A. and here it is hot always.
Sometimes I shower twice a day, with soap and shampoo.
