Switching to non lethals

Usually I carry an SOCP dagger for self defense.

But, upon further consideration, I am switching to non lethal defenses.

I ordered some Mpact 3 gloves from Mechanix.
They should make punching more effective.

I also already have some pepper spray.

The reason for this change is the legal landscape here in USA.

We have had many cases which were clearly self defense.
But, the person was prosecuted anyway.

I just figure that there is less of a chance of being wrongfully prosecuted if I use less force.
Or, at least that the charges would be less.

Unfortunately, this is the current conditions in USA.

If someone attacks me…..and I defend myself……I may be the one getting arrested.

This is why I always tell everyone to try to run away first.
It’s not being a coward.
It’s being realistic about the legal system.

I hear good things about pepper spray.

Especially against knives... And mad giants...

But you have to move after spraying! (Because blind rage is still rage)

Fog, for super nearby scum, without wind. (Can get you too!)

gel, as mid range, With wind.

stream, for far away, Long range. (Requires aiming!)

Also, beware of the expiration dates! They 100% mean it!
