Switch 2's gpu is already outdated 3rd party support will be from last gen not current gen

I just googled switch 2's gpu equivalent and found its equivalent to rtx 2050 jfl at this. rtx 2050 is just a 1650 with ray tracing and dlss. I highly doubt that rtx 2050 even passes minimum gpu requirements of any modern game these days. Its gonna run games at decent fps for cross gen title but it will show its age when it will start producing games exclusively for switch 2

The devs can optimize for it and if it is like a 2050 it is more powerful than a steam deck

Switch 2 will be worse than that in pure graphics tests. I predict it will be 1050 Ti/Radeon 7970 range.

Comparing old GPUs to low-power handhelds like this is pointless banter, though. With console optimization and newer technology, it will perform significantly better.

But, yes, you'll be buying significantly outdated hardware out the box for $450.
