Funny thing is the 17-year-old (Guilherme Taucci Monteiro) ended up shooting his 25-year-old childhood friend and accomplice (Luiz Henrique de Castro) before ending his life.

Other notable examples of mass killers with accomplices/mass killer duos:

• Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold (friends, classmates)
• Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik (husband and wife)
• Robert and Michael Bever (brothers)
• Ditbardh and Josef Cuko (brothers)
• Kumatarō Kido and Yagorō Tani (teacher and student)
• Michael Perry and Jason Burkett (friends)
• Horst and Erna Petri (husband and wife)
• George York and James Latham (friends, both soldiers)

You can see 4/9 are friends, 2/9 are spouses, 2/9 are siblings, and only 1 is a teacher/student, so you can conclude that the "friends" here (mass killers with friend accomplices) are extremely close since the other mass killers are literally related by blood or marriage, and it makes sense since what you're undertaking requires a high amount of trust.
