I’ve never been stung before and I don’t know if I’m actually allergic or not. If I hypothetically got stung and was allergic, would the first initial sting be fatal or does it need to happen multiple times?

There is a range of severity for an allergic reaction. Its very unlikely you'd go into anaphylactic shock and die immediately.
