Suggestion: add profile anthems

Some other forums also based on XenForo have option to add profile anthem, a short mp3 file to be played automatically when someone visits your profile. I think it would be cool.

So on this site perhaps premium users have anthems but I didn’t know so I requested anthems, but free users don’t have such option, at least one anthem for free users would be nice

Master just needs to set it up on here and bring it over.

But I think you're right, VIP gives you access to one anthem, whilst Lifetime VIP gives access to three.

I’m not certain on the latter, never had VIP just read it once and was like “nah kinda I’m ok with basic one” and I simply forgot it mentions anthems at all.


I mean Master probably doesn’t want to because it would make VIP less attractive but let’s be honest I don’t see too many VIP users anyway

I don't like the way .org made their anthems either, having to manually click to hear it. Loses it's affect in my opinion. You may as well just have a link in your profile.

WPD made it so that whenever a user loads a profile, the anthem will play. But the issue on .is is that the majority of users would most likely use this site on mute, as there is no audio or videos to be played.

I don’t think most use on mute, I always got some background noise like music

Exactly, anthems are to add to the vibe of a profile. When you have to play it automatically and such it lessens the sensation.
