My team leader told me this once, can't remember the exact words but it was very similar. We were on an open top LMTV going fast as fuck in december to put out some fire on a range, where our machine guns were firing. When we got there I had to step through all this burning cow shit with a fucking water tank on my back and hose in my hand to stop this fire. And the wind did not help. Anyway the character I got from that day has not helped me in life at all. I just smelled like cowshit and ash for a while
