TLDR for the brain rotten: There is a so called "sudden infant death syndrome" killing babies (the cause of death is usually attributed to stopped breathing). In reality this is more likely to be mothers killing the children of their non-Chad husbands and society just sweeping it under the rug.

TBH I think it has most to do with the attractiveness of the father. If he is Chad that baby will be sleeping well and sound, if he is non-Chad then that baby will have to fight 24/7. I think that male babies are also more "likely" to experience "sudden death syndrome"
