Honestly this is Bs. Your family background is important all studies show this. If you come from a shit family chances are high you will end up as shit too.

But still at EVERY fucking age you can put an effort into things and the situation will most likely improve, even if you just ascend from staff to shiftleader or something like this. Work, education, sports, hobbies etc, don’t -thank god- function like women. In these fields you can actually achieve something if you try and get rewarded for it.

Bill Gates was one of few thousand people at the time with the skillset and intelligence to do what he did and become the richest person. He still had to program all his free time though, and that's the effort and bootstrap I was talking about. He got lucky, but someone else without the drive and effort he put in couldn't have done it.
