They can't see it coming because they want to cope, are used to coping & were recommended to cope as well by their coping arranged/coerced marriage settling parents. Their parents never tried to make them well-rounded individuals & make sure they had good nutrition (for height, skin etc) & tried to bypass/compensate that with studymaxxing. They think having a good salary & a respectable white collar job will coast them through marriage but you cannot buy attraction.
