Okay so we're both old enough then. The only things I can think of that have changed for me as I've gotten older are:

- I don't care about alcohol and "partying" anymore but mainly this is honestly because I'm just too old and my friends are all old, hangovers suck, and I used to like going out because I thought I might "get lucky" which doesn't exist if you're ugly.
- Workceling gives me more meaning than anything - for the university students they'd just have small part time jobs so they wouldn't get meaning or value from that.

Other than that I don't see anything else that could change. And most of the guys on this forum are in their twenties same age as the participants when sex is supposed to be our primary biological drive.

The study is perfectly valid for what it tested which is the priorities and joys of university aged people. In that list sex came #1. It certainly was all could think about at that age. Everything I did including hobbies was in the (failed) pursuit of sex.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. I guessed the sample population was just a bunch of fucking teenagers or people in their early 20s. I immediately checked the link and they say the age range was 17-58, but the mean was 23 years old. The standard deviation was 7.5, but I would say thje 58 year old brought that way the fuck up. Most of the people in this sample population had to be very young to get a mean of 23. Probably one 58 year old, a couple people in their late 20s and the rest aged 17-24.
