How bad are trains in Romania?
You go outside
They are usually on time and the interior isn't that bad either. Toilet sucks, but they have charging ports so....
But today there was a gay rail inspection and I had to take one at a very early hour.
Already passed security. Outside isn't an option.
In Spain they're usually not on time so they can be unreliable. Like when they work they work really well but you never know if they'll turn in time or 20 minutes late making you miss appointments.
When I went to uni I took the bus instead.

I always thought Dutch trains were bad, boy was I naïve... I think the Deutsche Bahn is still better than Mediterranean train services.
Yup. Even though the Germans are stereotypically efficient and on time their train service is the opposite of that. Even Romanian trains are more punctual and I say that knowing that this country is a shithole.

Sounds like you're plenty able of alleviating your own boredom. I'm glad. I know what it's like to be stuck at an airport with nothing to do but to listen to music (and be in physical pain).
Nah. I need to unpack my laptop from my luggage and that is too much of a hassle. I'll do it when I'm desperate but I'd rather be phoneceling than having to unpack my already tight and most likely overweight pack

Slightly more than a year ago I went to Germany on a research visit. that's when I had the displeasure of experiencing the DB. In Germany, however, I met a guy I'm pretty sure is Romanian and we talked about trains. I just can't recall what he said anymore.
