also, i don't see any missed shooken with a jab like i would or even accidental fireballs instead of upper, and i use 8bitdo snes pro on my raspberry pi. (i kind of suck)
also crouching lk, standing lk, into super when i just do crouching lk, crouching lk into super and only do the standing by accident. i usually dont even hit-confirm, just go into super whether or not it's blocked.
sakura is my favorite in that game, then r.mika.
we have to play but i don't know how to set up fightcade.

Thanks. I made some mistakes but it was an above average run for my skill level I think.

Just because I had already beaten it with A-ism Sakura. X-ism is definitely worse to beat survival mode, but I liked the challenge. Not having the Sakura Otoshi attack made defeating Zangief particularly challenging. But the one button light kick + super combo is sweet.

I had one Shouoken instead of the intended Hadouken against Honda, because I had just walked forward kek.

sakura is my favorite in that game, then r.mika.

I was trying to decide who's my best character in sfa3. I think it's good ol' A-ism Ryu. Maybe Ken. Not sure.

oh, you're saying it's better bc you can do a lvl 3 super by pressing lk instead of sk, isee.

Kek. Just like her Shunpukyaku, it's highly situational, but it has its uses. You can see I successfully used it twice in the run, against Guy to make a combo and against Gen in the air to repel him (I was being extremely defensive there because he's a difficult one and that far in the Survival you only recover a bit of HP by the end of the fight, especially if you don't finish the opponent of with a super combo).

Sakura's strongest points are without a doubt her tappable Hadouken and her ultra fast light moves.

I sometimes fail to perform the super from right to left, but almost never for left to right. The keyboard mogs the joystick to oblivion in doing those down forward down forward moves. But it's impossible to use full circle moves on the keyboard. That's why I don't play with Zangief, Birdie and others.

Thanks! I think most people prefer a joystick. Like I said, the joystick mogs for some things, but the keyboard definitely mogs for others.

Ok.

It's her version of Ryu's spinning kick special. There's a combo using it that the AI uses a lot, I think it's medium crouching punch + strong Shunpukyaku, but it doesn't work well for me tbh. I only use it to combo with strong punch when the opponent flies, but usually the strong Shouoken will be a better move for that situation.

no, that move is very good to close distance and even start the match with. i was talking about sakura otoshi, which seems useless.
wish she had her dive kick from cvs2 in alpha 3, tbh, was useful.

I don't use it that much because the CPU will usually block it and punish you. The hadouken and even the shouoken are much better to spam.

Here, you can see how useful it is against Zangief in my old video of me defeating survival with A-ism Sakura. Without it I struggled, as seen in the X-ism run. Zangief is one of the worst matchups for Sakura.

Yeah I was unlucky there, usually I do land the 3 hits on Zangief.

I'm thinking about posting a Ken run as well, as he's my best character I think. But it's not as fun to watch because I spam Shouryuken A LOT, even more than I spammed hadouken in this Sakura run, kek.

Finally got it! Had some nice matches against @epillepsy

I'm Mainlander there. Had to leave for now but I'll be back there soon. Very fun tbh, even though playing against humans is vastly different from playing against the CPU and I had no experience with it.

Playing against humans is a whole other ball game. Got mostly destroyed yesterday by some countrymen.

The downside of only liking old game is that there are no casuals in those, only long time addicts.
