Guys, don't hope for sex robots that are human-like. Don't expect VR that will blow your mind. Let me tell you how things will turn out.

The technology for these things will improve, but it will be in small increments. Instead of a realistic robot in 20 years, you'll get a sex doll that can say some pre-programmed lines. No intelligent AI, maybe an improved version of Siri. It will move its limbs and maybe shake some of its parts. But it will never be what you want it to be.

VR will get better graphics. That's mostly it.

I think the situation is more complex and has a lot to do with human psychology and behavior.
