Kek, I just replied to another thread similar to this, but one of my friends I was venting to yesterday gave me this cookie-cutter answer as well. It made no sense to me either -- I haven't had sex despite trying everything in my power to become a better person, and now I'm jaded and ornery because of my shortcomings...
