Yeah I may be approaching 30 but at least I've got my hobbies (aka copes) to fill the void and keep me occupied, doesn't matter that people my age started having sex a decade ago or are now settled in long term relationships and getting married whilst I can't even get a first date. Good post. I agree and have been feeling this too recently, hobbies should compliment the more fundamental aspects of life such as relationships and a healthy sex life. The icing on the cake if you will, not the main fucking course.

Sure, but like @Autistic Uggo said if you're not having your other needs met first then there's the very real chance you'll burn out since the hobby becomes a bad surrogate for your other needs. And I'm guessing some of these guys will have wives/girlfriends who'll drop by during competitions to support their men.
