Video showed GPU that is better than of Steam Machine and it struggles hard at 1080p and achieves 70-80fps at best, for Machine it will be 20% less fps so constant fps drops below 60 = unplayable experience. 4K is just a pipe dream. And forget about dogshit FSR2/3 at 4k it's just horrible in games it turns everything into blurry smeared mess (space marine 2 was just unplayable with FSR Native). Only FSR4 is good enough to use in games but it's not available on that outdated old gen gpu and barely any game adopted that tech and you need to almost always use optiscaler.

And no 4k with FSR is not a "phenomenal 4k experience" you piece of shit it's the worst experience you can have with the game outside of running it at 1080p with FSR on. Whenever you have FSR2/3 you will have bad and very blurry experience.

They can't as FSR4 requires RDNA4 gpu to have full performance gain and stable reconstruction. SM uses old gen RDNA3 that has no official support for FSR3 with INT8 and it will make it lose fps when compared to FSR2/3 that also looks like ass. Steam Machine is DOA.

They ain't increasing performance out of 30W machine as everything is already cut down and super downclocked. I will be watching how pathetic it will be benchmarks and Valve fanboys going to lose it's shit. I love Steam but man all Valve hardware except Deck been a total failures so far and i can't see GabeBox as anything more than a fluke.
