So long story short I am waiting for a interveiw for a residential electrical aprentiship. Once or if I pass it, I should be set for a real ass future. Minus the actuall ass I dont think wealth is gonna make foids like me.
But hey itll make me money. Back on point, so my plan for the interveiw is to do a ghetto ass wiring job for a mock sub pannel box. Meaning no bonding between common and ground. But its a sub pannel since no fucking way I can install main pannel lines in this bitch. But 4 gauge wire will slip in real easily. Made sure to use that weird anti somthing paste Im sopposed to put on those super thick wires. I also need to get a ground bus bar that fits, aperantly the one I got is to small. So I need to head back to either Mclendons or Home depot to snatch dat bitch. And another one of those wire clampy thingys for the common 4 AWG wire. Witch is the one with white masking tape. Because white is how you do it right.
After all that shit is hooked up then the real fun begins. Having to caculate what breackers will fit in and wont for this pannel. Or I shouldnt say as much as fit as will not be over amped. According to normie ass google the amp limit for 4 gauge wire (copper that is) is 85 I. So I need to be careful of what breackers I snatch.
Hopfully when I finish this box itll look good and help me with a boost. I dont think itll garentee a fucking thing but itll show Im dedicated to the job. Even though Ill probably will have made many fuck ups to the box.
But thankfully the only thing this box will be hooked up to is the job interview and not a house. Other wise the place would fucking burn. Ill probably make another thread about electrical soon. Stay tuned if you like trade like threads.
