Who here takes antidepressants? Do they work? How well? Do you noticeably feel more positivity or something?
The ultimate anti depressent are two things, fast food and sleep, why the fuck would you bother buying a pill to do something that your body can naturally do, will you get a bit fat, yeah, but you won't become dependent ironically on the very system that you hate. The same people who fucked society up to where the "gender dynamics" are the way they are now, are the same people running the pharmaceutical industry, so they fuck your life up and then they get you to pay for pills to make you feel better about it (the irony)
>Inb4 - "they own the fast food industry too"
Yeah but you don't get addicted to fast food and its also cheap, you can make fast food yourself too, just buy the ingredients. There is no dependency on fast food, at certain points you get sick of it and prefer cooked meals, but anti-depressants are a drug, you never get "sick of" no longer feeling depressed, and now you are dependant on that drug, when I worked at a pharmacy I remember this guy that cam in and always bought lexapro, everytime I saw him I knew he was here for that, he always looked frustrated, like - "here we go again" kind of face, was there like twice every week, never missed a week.
If that's what you want your life to be, then go ahead, but I'm pretty sure there are better alternatives that are cheaper and don't make you dependent on a company or an addict.
Also the greatest irony of anti-depressants is that a typical side effect of a lot of them is - "suicidal thoughts", like how the fuck does that happen.
