Spider in forest

I was just on a night walk in this forest near me and something told me to get my phone out and put the flash on and luckily I did, because I nearly walked straight into the biggest spider web ever that had this huge fucking grey white looking spider on it.

It looked similar to this image but the spider was roughly 25% smaller

There's so many here too. I was gardening yesterday and these spiders the size of the palm of my hand kept crawling up me.

Pretty sure it was the wolf spider, they looked identical to this:

Usually the ones in this forest dont make them between the trees, rather on one tree where my body would never touch, but this spider was right inbetween both the trees I was about to walk between like those pranks where people put invisible tape infront of a door for someone to run through

Yea some of our animals are pretty dangerous. But then again you guys have got bears and such.

Not long ago I was barefoot in the forest and was about a centimeter away from stepping on a brown snake. I was an hour + away from the nearest path or road so it could have been a death sentence if it had bitten me. Funny enough I only didn't step on it because there were berries on the ground I was picking up. God definitely saved me there.
