A minor, which exceeds 14 years, has been arrested Thursday in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) after injuring with a knife three teachers and two students at an institute in the city, police sources have reported.
The events occurred at the Elena García Armada Institute, in the San José Obrero neighborhood. It is a recently created center, with only three or four years of existence.
This institute mixes students from two areas, one with a high socioeconomic level and the other more complicated, although it is not considered a problematic center.
The student, a student in class C of third ESO (high school) went "all angry" to the back of his class, where his backpack was, and extracted "knives" from it, according to a classmate from the high school next door told EFE.
"Then he started to tease everyone, even the teacher, who hit him in the eye. My friend almost got caught and another friend was hit in the forearm. And my Physics and Chemistry teacher in the head," he explained.
This minor said that the aggressor "is not a problematic boy, but he is always alone, he has 'a touch', I think he has gone out of his mind".
A teacher was stabbed in the eye and had to be taken to a hospital and other teachers and students were very slightly injured.
