It’s not a stupid decision. They already have a monopoly in anime distribution and HBO is an entry into the series/tv streaming industry

Massive waste of money, they haven't made a single good game in 10+ years. I don't see their IPs being worth that much unless they want to make some massive AAAA Batman/LOTTR/Harry Potter games every few years. it would take 10-20 years to just break even.
