Devs deserve to be paid and I would gladly do that if the games weren’t woke and if their work was properly rewarded and not laid off instead. Like if FH6 is good I would pay the price, but this direction is terrible.
I only own Forza Horizon 4. Bought it before they could remove it from the Steam Store.
The only reason why I've bought it was because of the four seasons.
I just want to cruise around during autumn and winter.
Fuck spring and summer.
Tbh, I barely even pirate games.
Before I decide whether to buy one I do proper reaearch. If it is clean, I buy it on disc for my xbox one s /x or for PC.
I have not bought current games in years because they all suck nowadays anyway.
The only games I do pirate are old PS1 games because Sony won't provide quality ports / emulation for either the PS4 or PS5.
The only reason for me to even consider a PS5 would be old games.
The hardware itself is just bad. It is built so complicated and so shit to take apart.
I can't see myself maintaining that.
Now the XBox One X, Series S. And Series X are far easier to maintain (open up, clean, replace parts, new thermal compound).
Definetely a quality of life improvement.
Once my xbox controllers get stick drift I will replace the sticks with hall effect sticks.
It should be easy enough to solder that and calibrate those sticks.
I still like the xbox controllers, but the quality has certainly worsened over time.
The xbox 360 controllers are king tier.
I so regret having sold mine. What an idiot I was. Damn it. Now Ii can't get a new one anymore.
While they don't have hall effect sticks, mine never developed any issues and overall the controller felt a lot sturdier and better in my hands.
I still might get a custom color designed XBOX controller to have something that is unique.
