I usually just LDAR when I get bored. After a while of LDAR'ing (it could be several months or even longer) my brain eventually decided that it wants to do something- it might be watching anime, playing video games, or studying. The key thing is that I eventually regain an interest in something despite no additional effort on my part. That's very anxiety relieving for me, because I know that my condition of "boredom and LDAR" is going to end, and when it ends, I'll have something with which to occupy my time again.
