Consoles use to be a cheaper and better performance alternative to pc hardware back in the day but with how advanced pc hardware has become, consoles just can’t compete. performance and the cost to custom silicone chips that could perform as good as a high end pc is prohibitively expensive for console manufacturers to eat. Sony has given up on making hardware since long time ago and shooting their fans in the face going full sjw and Microsoft realized that they fucked up by buying companies to get their catalogs but not actually producing anything worthwhile with those companies.
