This happened some time ago. I still do not know who it was and why. It was in the middle of the night. I was ready to fight. I had boiled water ready to throw at him and I would have attacked with a knife immediately if he managed to brake my door or window and get in. He threatened me for half an hour, I heard everything what he said through the mail opening. He threatened to bring more people, but they never arrived. I was very worried and afraid. I could take maybe him out, but no way more people. I was too shocked to even call a police and I know they would arrive too late to rescue me (can take hours). I know from his voice that he was not the neighbor who I hear having sex and sometimes revenge my playing music loud after their sex. I haven't done that for like weeks or 2 months or something like that.

He was very angry and would have attacked me physically, if he would have been able to. I think he made a mistake about the right apartment, I have no social life at all, no friends, no enemies in real life. No debts to anyone.

He demanded the door open. Then he repeated many, many times that he will break the window if he can't get through the door. He smashed the window for most of the time, but it did not break. He said who he called to to come soon to the scene.

I did not have the time to open my phone and call the police or set up any recordings. Every second I had was valuable. I had and have no weapons, I had to use my boiled water and bread knives. I was surprised the window did not break and that he left without trying to break it with some metal bar or something. Or open the door with tools etc. I had no escape, no back door, too high to jump from my bedroom window.

I was shaking. I kept thinking the whole time should I respond to him (he did not receive any indication that someone was inside the apartment) and ask did he mistake me for some other person and diffuse the situation that way before the window breaks (and it being cold outside, I could not continue to live here before it is repaired and in the meantime everyone can just come in and steal my belongings). He could have felt my fear from my voice.

EDIT: If you mean whether I had boiled water ready when it started; of course not. I started boiling after thinking what I could do.

I regretted in that situation very much about still having no sexual experience whatsoever, because there was a very real possibility of me dying or being bed-ridden for the rest of my life. I kept thinking about that instead of recording it for evidence (did not cross my mind) and calling the police (I thought about that at the start, but deemed I had no time for it and they would come too late).
