Just like a tragedy of the commons, when something belongs to everyone, nobody wants to take care of it.

Blaming society, is blaming everyone without blaming anyone. Perfect cop out. Nobody comes to defend society, whereas if you blamed a person or an organization you would receive an answer.

Yet, society is just an abstract concept of a crowd. Society cant decide things on its own. People who make up the society decide what goes.
