Here's why. Sociability is one of the dangerous and even fatal tendencies, for it brings us into contact with people the great majority of whom are morally bad and intellectually dull or perverse.

Almost all our sufferings spring from society, and peace of mind, constituting next to health the most essential clement of our happiness, is endangered by all society and therefore cannot really exist without a significant amount of solitude. The Cynics renounced all possessions in order to partake of the bliss of peace of mind; whoever with the same intention renounces society, has chosen the most prudent course.

The worst thing here is that in the individual moral and intellectual shortcomings conspire and work hand in hand, the result being extremely disagreeable phenomena of all kinds that make association with most people unpleasant and even intolerable. And so although there is in this world very much that is really bad, the worst thing in it is society, so that even Voltaire, the sociable Frenchman, had to say: La terre est couverte de gens qui ne meritent pas qu'on leur parle [The earth swarms with people who are not worth talking to.]

Sadi the Persian says of himself in the Gulistan: 'Disgusted with my friends in Damascus, I withdrew into the desert near Jerusalem to look for the companionship of animals.'

I think it's underrated.
I think it's a requirement for mental health.
Socializing also is a basic need according to Maslows pyramid of needs:

That has been indeed my IRL experience of it, normies are beyond salvation

Rather, I go by Epicurus' three classes of human needs. First there are the natural and necessary needs which, if they are not satisfied, cause pain. Consequently, they are only food and clothing and are easy to satisfy. Then we have those that are natural yet not necessary, that is, the needs for sexual satisfaction. These needs are more difficult to satisfy. Finally, there are those that are neither natural nor necessary, the needs for luxury, extravagance, pomp, and splendour, which are without end and very difficult to satisfy.

Socialisation, as a need, is neither natural nor necessary.

This is true, thing is many people here think being sociable is being dependable on others and they stop doing it, when that's not the case.

Socialisation, as a need, is neither natural nor necessary.
Humans and primates have always lived in tribes to survive, therefore socialisation is very necessary and natural for us.

To some extent that is true among uncivilised tribes and animals. However, in civilised places, not so much. For experience and reflection, particularly of the insight gained into the miserable nature, morally and intellectually, of the great majority of men, results in the need for seclusion and solitude.

Analogous to this is also the creation of laws in civilised places to prevent the war of all against all, after much experience and reflection into human nature.

IDK how it's in your country, but here nepotism is out of control, so if you want any better job than a fast food worker, you need to have contacts. Of course, as an ugly male, it's impossible, therefore you can speak 5 foreign languages and be master programmer and still rot in the worst positions, while a careless stupid foid mogs the hell outta you, cos she climbed that career ladder by being pretty.

People with IRL experience agree with my argument
I have no problem with being antisocial but you're deluding yourself if you think having positive social interactions is not any better.

Just as we have paper money instead of silver, so in the world, instead of true esteem and genuine friendship, there circulate outward demonstrations and mimic gestures thereof which are made to look as natural as possible. On the other hand, it may also be asked whether there are men who really deserve the true coin. In any case, I attach more value to an honest dog wagging his tail than to a hundred such gestures and demonstrations.

If we heard what most of our good "friends" said about us in our absence, we would never say another word to them. The egoism of human nature is so much opposed to friendship, that true friendship is one of those things which, like colossal sea-serpents, are either legendary or exist somewhere, I know not which.

Yes I get your point and I also see you are not willing to see other points, over for you

I’m sitting in my college library right next to a foid and wasting my prime rotting :feelsrope::feelsrope::feelsrope::feelsrope::feelsrope::reeeeee::reeeeee::reeeeee::reeeeee::reeeeee::reeeeee:

All the sorrows comes from interaction with other people therefore it is better to be in your own company, because only then you can be true yourself.

One that doesn't like his own company can't love freedom, because we are truly free when on our own.

this is the perspective of an edgy teenager. Life is about the quality of the relationships you have. If you don't have this, you don't have a life worth living. This is why incels suffer so greatly.

You obviously haven't experienced life yet. :dafuckfeels: He who is older should think back to all those with whom he has had any dealings, and ask himself how many people whom he has come across were really and truly honest. Were not by far the greater number of them, to speak plainly, the very opposite, in spite of their shameless indignation at the slightest suspicion of dishonesty, or even of untruthfulness? Were not mean selfishness, boundless avarice, well-concealed knavery, poisonous envy, and devilish delight at the misfortunes of others, so universally prevalent, that the slightest exception was received with admiration?

The only thing in common among those who live over 100 is that they all have large families that love and admire them

you're right, I just want to be normal, but I failed

so you are stupid. Knowing how superficial and imbecyl are normies and still tryna fit in is like trying to dumb down yourself. Most incels are NPCs that are poor or ugly or aspie. If not for that you would be NPC imbecyls like others going to wagie cagie, to parties, having gf and making kids and waiting for retirment. You are different kind from me. I was always nonconformistic.

Very true,90% or more of the people i met in my life were pos, only a few of them seemed to be honest, good people.

Yes,it is better to interact with regular animals because they are always honest and they will like you (especially if you give them some food),than the ''superior'' animals known as humans.
