One thing that contributes to increased feelings of worthlessness and "missing out" is by far social media. But there is a cope about social media that is true.
When I see my feed full of acquaintances talking about their lives and how great things are going there is something important to remember. Many of these people are fucking miserable too, they only choose to broadcast the good moments. AND they are usually exaggerating or flat out lying about how happy they are.
Yes. It is a cope. But to me it reminds me that normies aren't nearly as happy as they let on.
