Strikers have the highest status in soccer for an obvious reason: they score goals. People cheer up. A soccer match can be decided by scoring a single goal, so this role is very important, which obviously inflates the ego of whoever is playing as a striker.

Normie strikers with girlfriends always send love signs with hand gestures to them, like this:

But there might be a problem if the defender is "cockblocking" the striker and interrupting his plays. This feels like a mini vengeance for the incel who plays as a defender, doing stuff like this:

Goalkeepers either have a high status due to their master defenses or the lowest if everything goes wrong in the match. Very stressful position. I sympathize with goalkeepers.

At school, the worst and most unpopular kids have to be goalkeepers. That happened to me regularly, too. Even though I wasn't actually that bad. But of course, surrounded by my bullies, I lacked confidence.

I still don't really get "offsides" in soccer compared to American football where it's very defined along the line of scrimmage. Invariable every four years during the World Cup there will be some offsides call during a game I'm watching.
