I doubt India lost any planes but if they did it was in the beginning when they weren't trying to attack pakistans military. They were only trying to attack terrorist camps. After pakistans military attacked India the gloves were off and India destroyed their radar sights and then destroyed their bases.

Why would pilots go into pakistani air space. They can hit pakistan from India. The missiles on the jets can hit from 100s of miles away.
