I truly believe in the existence of thousands of senses, independent and different from the five basic human senses. Since we don't possess all of these unknown, undiscovered senses, our reality, as perceived through our five senses, is merely a watered-down version of a more abstract reality. H.P. Lovecraft shared the idea that what we perceive about the universe through our limited senses is just a fraction of the eldritch and incomprehensible reality that actually exists.
