One thing I noticed from the Desert Fathers... Is how they talk about women as if they're sin and how they had to go out of their way to actually exert every possible effort to avoid women in order to be closer to God.

Why is that? It can't be that these monk maxxers were all Chads. Why did women seem to be so extremely easy from their perspective? And if they're all Chads, then they'd never even think about monkmaxxing if they're enjoying their time "in the world"? Unless maybe God pricks their conscience and they feel His direct calling or something...

Meanwhile today... We can have men exerting 150% effort to looksmax and redpillmax and careermax in order to attract women and still fail miserably?

What has changed from then and now?
