if you react in a way that isn't completely NT, now they have an excuse to hate you as you didn't "get the joke", or if they don't hate you from that your social intimidation goes from low to literally 0, and they become way more unhinged
even deformity/dwarves don't get picked on IRL only in movies if they have high EQ and are NT, they are just left alone usually
