Anyone shares my interpretation of Smallville?

Lex jealous of Clark's superpowers and growing ever more distant from him: an ugly boy becoming jealous of his Chad best friend as they grow up.

One of the writers agrees:
Lex: I've thought about it; I've thought about a lot of things….Clark has nice hair.

— Writer Steven DeKnight describes this exchange of dialogue, from season five's "Lockdown", as providing an insight into Lex's feelings of inadequacy and envy of Clark

This is also made very clear by their feud over Lana.

This series is better than you think/remember, by the way. Only the last two seasons suck.

What is it about you that makes you follow TV series so much? Not attacking you just curious.

Steven s deknight spartacus
Shaved head to hide hairline, tattoos to distract from his stature, he's doing it all.

Wut

I watch very few series. Curious why you say that.

Only series I've liked and completely watched over the last ten years: Smallville, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad

You seem to talk about movies and TV in general a fair bit, that's why I asked. I probably said "so much" just because I don't watch any of that, I've never been big on film and I doubt most incels are tbh.

How old are you? It's pretty widespread for people under 30 to be TV / movie aficionados.

Smallville was a great cope because it was addictive in a superfluous way, but yes, there were definitely some blackpill elements to the show. Notice how the short black best friend just moved away at some point early on, like Season 2 if I recall correctly? No one cared about him.
