If small calves really did make you more athletic then why are Indians the slowest people despite having the smallest calves out of every race!?

small calves + long tibia = runners

large calves + short tibia = cankles. mountain climbers. ankle rolls wont kill you the same way it would someone with chicken legs/small calves.
