I recognized Louise and Maria (tho I had forgotten her name) as well. While I did watch Gurren Lagann a long time ago, I don't remember Nia at all. I've never watched any of the Toaru, but I did recognize Kuroko as being one of those super popular anime girls. I didn't recognize Kobato either. In my defense, I'm pretty sure I watched Haganai even longer ago than Gurren Lagann and the image quality ain't exactly stellar.
