tldr; trash cope thread

just wanted to share,
i found my passion for skating again,

i landed a decent kickflip again, a have a laid out plan on what tricks to practice in order.

currently i am still getting my skills back, i am stuck on backside 180s, switch pop shuvs and kickflips.

i have this rule that i need to land 3 in a row for it to be counted as "learned"

i love things with a steap learning curve you can get better at constantly.

my other passion is a moba game and geoguesser.

both of these things take massive amounts of hours to get good at.

hence why i can look into the future, wanting to stay alive, wanting to get better.

it is possible that i will not be able to do these things forever, my knee is fucked and my thumbs (from playing too much fortnite)

so at one point i will probably have to give these copes up too (i am old)

but i will ride it as long as possible

My only cope is porn atm. All other things seem meaningless

There was a skating game called skate 3 I liked playing back on ps3

I played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on PS1

When i was a teen skating was pretty popular for misfit kids. I always wanted to get into it but i was scared of being rejected and laughed at by the others.

understandable, i have this fear too, that is why i go to a secluded area with no other skaters to practice (an empty parking lot)

you could try it too! it is really rewarding, and never too late to start, there are a ton of tutorials on youtube for every trick and level

having a good board and trucks is essential if you want to start, i would go straight for a "professional" skateboard, trucks and wheels, bearings.

otherwise you will not have fun
