I was rewatching Shrek recently, and it hit me how much that movie actually says about the the black pill in a way people don't pick up. Let’s look at two sides of the story.

Shrek starts out living alone. Why? Because he’s ogre. Ogres are ugly and scary because they're gross. The whole village runs away from him before he even speaks. He is instantly judged and feared because of his truecel appearance. He can’t walk into a shop or make a friend without causing a panic and maybe getting attacked by white knight normies.

This part of the movie is really honest about how society works. How you look determines the first reaction you get. Cause he wasn't really a bad guy who hurt people

Remember when Shrek and Donkey take the potion and Shrek turns into a attractive tall Chad with blonde hair? Suddenly, the world acts differently. The foids who find him are all over him, and people stop running because his looks. They treat him with respect and attention they would never give the "evil" ogre.

This contrast is a little too realistic huh? It shows that without a personality change at all, a look change is all that's needed to become a good person to normies. He still had Shrek personality after all

Also Fiona’s Choice

The movie doesn't stop there with its BPing. This is where the real lesson comes in, and why Shrek is ultimately so brutal for an older person who can understand it

Fiona has two main choices for a partner:

Lord Farquaad. He is the absolute definition of having it all in personal success. He's rich, he runs shit, he owns the whole kingdom. He has wealth and status. Normies would say "get your money up" so he's a guy who did that.
Or Shrek (even as ogremaxxed). He lives in a swamp, has no money, and is fat.

Fiona could have chosen Farquaad and had a life of comfort and endless riches. She could have had the easy life. But she realizes that she wants tall strong man. She was drawn to Shrek because he could tear farquaad in half and tower over him

In the end, looks is all that matters. Not personality as shown by his human form, and not even money as shown by her rejection of the king. The short, rich man with all the power loses.

So yeah it's actually a hidden black pill that we didn't recognize as kids
