Professor Allan Mazur, an engineer and sociologist, has been a professor in Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs since 1971. A fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, he is the author or coauthor of seven books and more than 150 scholarly articles, mostly on topics in biosociology, technology and environment.
