It's interesting because on the right-wing side there's Reform and the Tories. On the left is Labour, the Lib Dems, and the Greens.

If Restore do split the Reform vote then there are three parties on the right as well which plummets all but the Tories and Labour down to about 14% and I guess the choice is between the big two again.

Who is he splitting the vote with? Who else would they vote for? Don't tell me reform UK. If you still think reform is a right wing party then it's over. Maybe the homeland party is? But they have zero influence, nobody cares about them.

I suppose if you don't have any faith in Farage or Reform then... well, from your POV then the only hope for Britain is Restore winning.

See, if Lowe had said that in that interview then I could understand the perspective! Even if I didn't agree, it would make sense.

But he didn't he just said something like... it being about the share of the vote that the right-wing parties have vs the left-wing parties.

That's not really true under the current system though surely because it makes it more likely that left-wing parties will win the individual constituencies.

I guess in a way... it's implied that Lowe does see it this way. Sorry to tack this on but I just wanted to continue the thought process!

He seems to think... essentially that Nigel would make such a bad leader that he's not really splitting the vote because neither the Tories or Reform are at all acceptable choices.

Again, I don't agree. I like Nigel. But I can at least see the logic and it reduces the likelihood of him being a plant IMO!

But I still think he probably is a plant.
