This is a sentiment I see sometimes in this community, that if only chads didn't exist, we would have it good. But that's not true at all, even if all the chads disappeared, the standards dropped and we got a desperate wife, she would be resentful and disrespectful, she would drain the life out of us. This will get me hate from fellow incels but It's not the good looking people that are making the world a worse place, it's us, we are the eyesores, we are the criminals, we are the blue collar slaves.

The standards are irrelevant, women will never be attracted to ugly, doesn't matter if the ugly dude is the last man on earth. If everyone is good looking hypergamy would decrease, women would be more satisfied, the world would be a happier place.

Yeah i don't believe that it's relative. I believe beautiful people are the standard and always will be, as that's what we are all supposed to look like. I believe ugly people are deformed, we have a disability and i think ugliness should be treated as a disability. Even if an ugly person is the best looking one in the room, he won't give a woman butterflies in her stomach.
No evidence which is why I used the world believe. I usually rely on anecdotal evidence, because obviously I can trust myself to be unbiased. I personally will never find an ugly woman attractive, no matter how desparate I get. Even if I betabuxx at some point in my life, I recognize that I would only do that as a last ditch effort, I can never love a sub5 woman.
Beauty is everything. It is an indicator of health, status, even intelligence (which is a hard pill to swallow). My instincts won't let me feel attracted to a genetic failure, I find it impossible.
Me neither, but that wasn't exactly my question. My question was whether a hypothetical man (woman) could ever find a nowadays ugly woman (man) attractive if they've never known nowadays pretty people.
Once again I can only hypothesize, but what comes to mind are babies hating being around ugly people, despite not being exposed to many faces in their life. I *believe* that we intrinsically know when someone looks off, and are repulsed by them as some sort of defense mechanism so that our offspring doesn't inherit poor genes.
